Competitive Examination 2012 (PSCSCCE 2012) for the recruitment of the

Application Fee: candidates
willing to apply for the above posts have to pay Rs. 1500/- as examination fee
(SC,ST & BC -375; Ex-SM-nil) in the form of State Bank of India DD for
preliminary examination. Those who qualify the preliminary examination have to
pay Rs.2000 (Rs.500 in case of SC, ST & BC (Punjab) and Nil – Ex-SM) for
the Main Examination.
Application Process: interested candidates fulfil the
above mentioned eligibility standards shall apply online through www.ppsc.gov.in from 15th September to 8th October, 2012. After applying online take a
printout of the system generated application form and send it along with Fee
Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission,

Selection
Process:
The
selection process of PPSC Combined Competitive Examination 2012 is in two
stages i.e. Preliminary Competitive Exam and Main Competitive Exam.
Preliminary
Test consists of two papers i.e. Paper-1 General Studies and Paper-2 Civil
Services Aptitude Test. Each paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions
for 150 marks. Exam duration is 2 hours.
Those candidates
who qualify this test will be called for Main Competitive Examination which is
for 1000 marks
