Translators in (CSOLS) Examination

Academic
Qualifications:
Post Graduation in Hindi or English with one subject Hindi or English + Diploma
in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa with 2 years experience.
Candidates
willing to apply for the above Junior Hindi Translator Jobs should have to pay
a sum of Rs.100/- examination fee in the form of “Central Recruitment Fee
Stamps (CRFS) which are available in the post offices. Application forms can be
downloaded from staff selection commission’s website: ssc.nic.in. After filling
the application form carefully and completing all formalities these should be
submitted or sent along with required copies of documents in the respective
Staff Selection Commission Regional Offices on or before the closing date 5th
October, 2012. Candidates should send their applications to the respective
addresses where they wish to appear their examination centre.
Selection Process:
The
selection process of Staff Selection Commission Junior Translator Examination
2012 is quite typical. It consists of two parts Written Test and Personal
Interview for 400 and 100 marks consecutively. Written test again consists of
two papers i.e. General English and General Hindi in Paper 1 (objective type
multiple choice) for 200 marks and Translation and Essay for 200 marks. Exam
duration is 2 hours for each paper. After qualifying these two papers the
candidates will be called for personal interview which is for 100 marks. The final
list of selected candidates is prepared by the Staff Selection Commission by
taking into consideration of the aggregate marks scored in both written test
and personal interview.
