UPSC IES -ISS Exam 2013Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year conducts examinations for various services like Indian Civil Service, Indian Police Service and Indian Foreign Service and so on to recruit talented and ambitious candidates to serve India as Grade IV Officers. Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service are such. UPSC is inviting online applications through www.upsconline.nic.in for Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2015. It published UPSC Examination Notice no. 4/2015-IES/ISS in employment newspaper and other major recruitment newspapers stating the last date of online applications is 20th  March, 2015. It’s official website is www.upsc.gov.in.

Age Limit: 21 to 30 years

Indian Economic Service: 6 Posts
Academic Qualifications: Post Graduation in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics.

Indian Statistical Service: 55 Posts
Academic Qualifications: Post Graduation in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics.

UPSC online Application Process

Candidates wish to apply for the above examinations have to pay Rs.200 as examination fee in any of the branches of State Bank of India or it’s affiliated banks. After payment of fee the candidates can visitwww.upsconline.nic.in to apply online on or before 20th March, 2015.

UPSC IES & ISS Selection Process:

The selection process of Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service consists of Written Examination for 1000 marks and Viva Voce for 200 marks. Look at below tables about the syllabus of the exam.
