How to Prepare for IBPS CWE Clerical Cadre 2014?

This examination was held first time in 2011 November / December. This year again IBPS CWE for Clerical Cadre is going to be held in online in the month of November / December 2014. How to Prepare for IBPS Clerical Cadre Common Written Examination 2014?

IBPS has changed the selection process this time. It is introducing online examination system to give a modern approach to IBPS test. Not leaving the Personal Interview phase to the Banks as it was earlier before IBPS itself is conducting it.  So the preparedness of the job applicants’ is to be changed in accordance with the online examination system. Candidate should be ready to show maximum performance during the entire process in order to succeeded in IBPS Common Written Examination for Clerks and then achieve his dream bank job.

In the selection process of thousands of bank jobs, revolutionary changes have taken place. There is much difference between the earlier bank exams (last year) and the coming exam that is conducted by IBPS. Current IBPS Exam for clerical cadre is done through online. Regardless of paper, question will appear on computer screen.

So job aspirants should carefully observe the following instructions to avoid mistakes.

1.     Candidate should report the examination center in right time.
2.     You will be given a small tutorial on how to write the exam, what issues to be noticed and how the screen will appear etc.
3.     Time management is quite important as this is an online examination.
4.     The remaining time is continuously displayed on screen. So candidate should not feel pressure while attending the answers.
5.     Candidate can change the answers if any mistake occurs. But once submitted the paper you will not be able to change it. So click the submit button when you think it final.
6.     There total 5 parts, 200 questions. IBPS exam duration is 2 hours.
7.     If you can save your time in general awareness and computer knowledge papers, that time can be used for numerical ability and other time consuming papers.

Reasoning Preparation for IBPS CWE Clerks:

in IBPS Clerical Examination reasoning section, besides recognizing correct answers conceptual clarity is quite important. In addition selection of standard books and quality material is also necessary for preparation. There are chances of giving questions on verbal reasoning and commonsense reasoning. It is better to concentrate on commonsense reasoning rather than logical reasoning. Questions from Analogy, classification, series, alphabet, blood relations, directions, time and sequences etc. may come. Practice basic topics in non-verbal reasoning. Numerical Ability Preparation for IBPS CWE Clerks:

4 topics are important for numerical ability in IBPS CWE for Clerks 2014. They are Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Any question in numerical ability will be definitely related to the above said topics. So, if you could get grip over these four topics, you can answer the entire questions properly. Learn tables up to 20 thoroughly. IBPS applicant should also learn basic formulas. Practicing with old papers and model papers will help to improve your skill in this section.

General Awareness Preparation for IBPS CWE Clerks:

Comparatively bank exams general awareness section is easy than other competitive exams. Because bank exams general awareness is primarily concentrated on Economy, banking and industries related. In general awareness preparation, candidate should understand Reserve Bank of India, regulations and establishment etc.  Regularly update with Reserve Bank Repo rates, Reverse Repo Rates and changes with them etc. Understand various bank’s deposits, loan terms and conditions, government banks, private banks, nationalized banks and co-operative banks thoroughly. Focus on Basel committee regulations, Basel I, II, III principals.

Learn the terminology used in banking sector. Study topics like ATM, Online banking, anywhere banking, CBS system, NEFT and RTGS etc.

Computer Knowledge Preparation for IBPS CWE Clerks:

It is important to improve your computer knowledge, as its necessity and importance is growing in day by day.  Earlier the questions were concentrated on basics only. But now-a-days the questions in this section are quite deep. Moreover, as the IBPS selection process and clerical exam is totally online, the higher you improve computer knowledge the more you benefit. There is vast material available in the market which you can use.

English Language Preparation for IBPS CWE Clerks:

It is always better to make English as part of your life to get grip over it and face competitive examinations more confidently especially IBPS Common Written examinations. Grammar is life for English section in competitive exams. While learning English rather than memorizing grammar rules, you understand them and use them to improve your skill and English knowledge.  

Words are heart for any language. The more words you learn the more powerful you will be as far as English language is concerned. So start learning vocabulary as much as possible to gain command over English language and so to get score in IBPS online test for clerk posts.
