Andhra Pradesh Excise Constables Exam Results

The results of A.P Excise constables’ recruitment exam released today. Minister Partha Sarathi released them. Total 766 male candidates and 540 female candidates have qualified in this exam. The minister declared that the selected candidates will appointment letters within month. For total 2606 posts the A.P Excise Constables recruitment notification was released in October 8, 2012. The written test was held on 31st March, 2013.

Andhra Pradesh Prohibition and Excise Department released employment notification inviting online applications from the who have passed SSC or equivalent examination for filling up 2606 Prohibition and Excise Constable posts. Details are as follows.

Prohibition and Excise Constable: 2606
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Pay Scale: Rs 7960 - Rs 23650/-
Educational Qualifications: SSC or Equivalent

Physical Requirements:
Men: Height- 165 C.M.
          Chest- 81 C.M. (86 C.M. in expansion)
Women: Height- 152.5 C.M. and weight not less than 45.5 k.g.

Application Process: candidates willing to apply for the A P Prohibition and Excise Constable posts shall have to pay Rs. 300/- as application fee through any of the A P Online centers or E-Seva centers. After payment of fee using the fee payment journal number he/she can submit application online through http://cpe.cgg.gov.in from 15th October, 2012 to 5th November 2012.

Selection Process: The selection of Prohibition and Excise Constables in Andhra Pradesh done through three stages.

Preliminary Qualifying test in which a male candidates have to finish a run of 4 K.M in 20 minutes where as a woman candidate have to run 2 k.m. in 13 minutes. After qualifying the PQT the candidates have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test consists of Running, High Jump, Long Jump and Shot Put. Candidates who successfully pass these two stages will have to attend a written test. The written test is conducted for 100 marks for 100 objective type multiple choice questions, which should be answered in 2 hours. The written test will be at 10th Class level. After securing enough score in these tests the candidates are given ranking and appointed accordingly.
