Salary and other benefits in GAIL: 

Candidates selected, will be placed initially in E2 grade with a basic of Rs.24900 - 50500/- for 1 year training period. Upon successfully completing the probation period GAIL will absorb them the same pay scale and grade mentioned above with some other benefits.

GAIL Other perks and allowances: 

Besides salary GAIL pays to it’s employees House Rent Allowance, Variable Dearness Allowance, Variable Pay, Medical facility, Group Insurance, Transport allowance etc. In addition these employees rendering 15 years of service will also be entitled to Pension and Post Retirement medical benefits.

GAIL Executive Trainee Mechanical: 

47 posts (UR-24, SC-6, ST-4, OBC-13)

Eligibility: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical & Automobile with not less than 65 % Marks.

Gail Executive Trainee Electrical: 

23 Posts (UR-12, SC-4, ST-2, OBC-5)

Eligibility: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with not less than 65 % Marks.

GAIL Executive Trainee Instrumentation: 

26 Posts (UR-13, SC-4, ST-3, OBC-6)

Eligibility: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics with not less than 65 % Marks.

GAIL Executive Trainee Chemical: 

21 (UR-11, SC-3, ST-2, OBC-5)

Eligibility: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology with not less than 65 % Marks.

Note: relaxation of 5% marks for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

Service Bond: Rs.100000.

Interested candidates after ensuring their eligibility for the above posts in GAIL can visit www.gailonline.com from 6^th December to 15^th January, 2013 and register themselves using the GATE registration number given in the admit card. After applying online the applicant should take a print out of the system generated application form, suffix a passport size photo and submit it along with GATE 2013 admit card at the time of Interview /group discussion.

Selection Process in GAIL Recruitment

The candidates are shortlisted based on the GATE 2013 score and are called for Interview / Group Discussion.  It should always be remembered that sufficient GATE score is required for GAIL recruitment of Executive Trainees.
