What is Andhra Bank PGDBF Programme?Andhra Bank and Manipal Global Education Services are jointly conducting Post Graduation Diploma in Banking and Finance. After completing this course the candidates will be appointed as probationary officers in Andhra Bank. Course duration is 1 year. 9 months class room training and 3 months internship in Andhra Bank’s branches. Selected candidates will be paid stipend during the course period.
Graduates in any discipline are eligible for this course but the candidates should have passed it with 60% marks. Moreover IBPS Probationary Officers / Management Trainee qualified score is another requirement. Age should be between 21 to 29 years. Age relaxation is there for reserved categories.
Candidates for this course are selected through group discussion or interview or both. Andhra Bank conducts these. The training of the selected candidates is given by Manipal University. After completing the course Manipal University awards them Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance.
Job Opportunities with this diploma
During class room training period they will be paid Rs.2,500 and internship Rs.10,000 as stipend. Course fee is 3.3 lakh. However Andhra Bank provides bank loan if required by the candidate which should be repaid within 5 years after posting. All the candidates will be placed as probationary officers in Andhra Bank after finishing the course. Starting salary would be around 3 lakh in metro cities. Candidates should work at least 3 years in Andhra Bank.
