Operator/Technician (Trainee): 290
Disciplines: Ceramics-5, Chemical-10, Electrical-45, Electronics-10, Instrumentation-10, Mechanical-90, Metallurgy-90, Auto Mobile-5, Civil-15, Production-10

Age Limit            : 18 to 28 years
Pay Scale           : During training period Rs. 10700 is paid as stipend for 1st year & Rs. 12200 for the 2nd year. After successful completion of training they will be absorbed in Steel Authority of India Limited as Operators and Technicians in S3 Scale Rs.9160 - 3% - 13150/-

Educational Qualifications: Diploma in the respective discipline

Attendant / Technician (Trainee): 169
Disciplines: Electronics Mechanic – 5, Electrician-44, Fitter-15, Mechanic Motor Vehicle-15, Machinist-15, Turner-10, Welder-15, Mechanic Diesel-10, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration – 15, Draughtsman (Civil)-5, Draughtsman (Mech)-5, Dumper Operator-15

Age Limit           : 18 to 28 years
Pay Scale           : During training period Rs. 8600 is paid as stipend for 1st year & Rs. 10000 for the 2nd year. After successful completion of training they will be absorbed in Steel Authority of India Limited as Operators and Technicians in S1 Scale Rs. Rs.8630- 3%- 12080.

Educational Qualifications: ITI in the respective discipline.
For Dumper Operator: Matriculation with Heavy Vehicle Driving License with 1 year experience

Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): 9 (Gen-2, SC-3, ST-1, OBC-3)
Pay Scale            : Rs.9160 -3%- 13150
Age Limit            : 30 years
Education qualification: Matriculation and 3 years full time Diploma in engineering with at least 2nd Class Boiler Competency Certificate

Attendant-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): 5 (Gen-2, SC-2, OBC-1)
Pay Scale            : Rs.9160 -3%- 13150
Age Limit            : 30 years
Education qualification: Matriculation and ITI from Govt. Recognized Institute with at least 2nd Class Boiler Competency Certificate
