Staff Selection Commission MTS Examination Pattern.

STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION MULTI TASKING (NON TEHNICAL) STAFF


SSC MTS Employment NewsStaff selection Commission (SSC) conducts National Level Written Test for the selection of Multi Tasking Staff (Non Technical), who will to be posted in different departments of Central government. Let’s know about this SSC MTS test which let’s the candidates to get a job in central government with mere 10th class qualification.

Who is Multi Tasking (Non Technical) staff?

Various posts like Peon, Draughty, Junior Gestetener Operator, Farash, Chowkidar, Mali come under this Multi Tasking (Non Technical) Staff. Till year 2010 these posts have been considered as Group – D Category. In the year April 2010 Central Government has made changes in the categories and have upgraded these posts to Group-C Category.

SSC MTS Eligibilities

The candidate must be a Citizen of India and have passed Matriculation or Equivalent Examination. Age must be between 18 to 25 Yrs. The General, OBC Candidates submitting application must pay the fees by means of Central Recruitment Fees Stamp (CRFS) only.  The Central Recruitment Fees Stamp (CRFS) are available at all Head Post Offices. Fee is exempted for Woman candidates, and candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex Service Men and Physically Handicapped.

SSC MTS Mode of Selection

The Candidates have to pass through from two types of tests in SSC MTS Examination. First test will be Objective type. The Candidates who successfully clear the objective test will be sent to the second test which will be a Descriptive.  

SSC MTS Scheme of Examination.

There will be two papers. Paper-I (Objective), Paper-II (Descriptive)

Paper-I

In SSC MTS exam Paper I will be in English, Hindi Only. But for the convenience of the candidates Staff Selection commission is providing the facility to attempt the Examination in Vernacular languages (Local Languages).
* * There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks for Each Wrong answer.

Paper-II

This is the Main paper in SSC MTS exam. Candidates who clear the Paper-I only will be called to attend for Paper-2. The main objective of this test is to know the language skills of the candidate.
