Staff Selection Commission is inviting online applications through www.ssconline.nic.in from candidates eligible and qualified for the employment of Constables (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Websites for this recruitment are http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in. The last date to apply online is 9^th January, 2013.

Application Process of SSC Recruitment 2013 CSAF & Assam Rifles:

Staff Selection Commission declared the candidates can apply for the above posts in both offline and online modes. Candidates willing to apply online for the above CAPFs and Assam Rifles Constable Jobs have to pay application fee of Rs.50/- in any of the Branches of State Bank of India. After payment of fee they will be able to apply online through www.ssconline.nic.in or www.ssconline2.gov.in on or before the closing date 9th January, 2013.

Those who opt for offline applications can download them from www.ssconline.nic.in and send it pasted Rs.50/- Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CAFS) to the prescribed addresses given in the original employment notification before the closing date.

Selection Process:

Physical Standards Test -> Physical Efficiency Test -> Written Examination -> Medical Examination

Physical Efficiency Test:

Female candidates should be able to run 5 KMs in 24 minutes and male candidates 1.6 KMs in 8 ½ minutes

Written Examination:

Written examination of SSC Recruitment 2013 for Constables (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman is done for 100 marks for 100 multiple choice questions. It consists of 4 parts General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English / Hindi each for 25 marks. Exam duration is 2 hours.
