Total Vacancies: 500
Mechanical -300 (UR-152, OBC-81, SC-45, ST-22)
Electrical – 150 (UR-76, OBC-41, SC-22, ST-11)
Electronics – 50 (UR-25, OBC-13, SC-8, ST-4)
Age Limit: 27 years (29 years for post graduates)
Salary and other benefits: candidates selected, will be paid Rs.20600/- as consolidated stipend during the 1 year training period. Upon successful completion of training they will be absorbed as Engineers with scale Rs.24900 - 50500/- and with other allowances.

After online registration the applicant should take 2 print outs of acknowledgement slip. BHEL Engineer Trainee Selection Process
Depending upon the GATE 2013 score the candidates will be shortlisted and called for Interview / Group Discussion. Applicants should remember that GATE 2013 score is required for BHEL recruitment of Engineer Trainees. Final selection of candidates is done after considering both GATE and Interview marks. GATE 2013 marks will get a weightage of 75% and Interview marks will get 25% weightage.
