January to 31st January,
2013. However application
can be paid up to 2nd February through post office or bank. Candidates
should take a printout of the system generated application form for future reference.
TNPSC Selection Process: Written Test (Computer Based Test) -> Oral
Test (Interview and Records)
Written Test
The written test consists of 2 papers, statics (Paper-1) for
300 marks for 200 objective questions and General Knowledge (Paper-2) for 200
marks for 100 objective type questions. Exam duration is 3 hours and 2 hours
for Paper-1 and Paper-2 respectively. The candidate should remember that the
TNPSC is conducting the written examination on Computer (Computer based test)
and he should prepare himself prior to the examination for it.

There are total
6 centers namely Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirappalli and
Tirunelveli in which TNPSC is conducting examinations.
