It is looking for young, dynamic and competent married / unmarried engineering graduates and invited online applications for grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army. The total vacancies are 60 and the last date to submit online applications is 18th June, 2014.

Academic Qualifications: Candidates studying Final year engineering degree or who have completed their engineering in the above mentioned disciplines are eligible to apply.
Age between       : 20 to 27 years

Physical Standards: Height 157.5c.m. with co-related weight. 5 C.M. relaxation for north east states candidates.

Selection Process for 120th TGC Grant of Permanent Commission


Preliminary selection for the Technical Graduate Course will be made by Directorate general Recruiting, Army Head Quarters after scrutinizing the applications and qualifications. The short list prepared is forwarded for SSB interview.
Selected candidates will have to attend training course in India Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for a period of 12 months. After successful completion of training they will be granted Permanent Commission in the rank of Lieutenant with pay scale Rs.15600 – 39100 with grade pay Rs.5400 with additional pay Rs.6000 called Military Service Pay.
