Enhance your job skills with MSIT

MSIT is the post graduate course that has been developed
according to the basic rule of learning through practical exposure and helping
out candidates to enhance all the required skills to work in the IT industry. This
course is designed under the guidance of Carnegie Mellon University of America
and is being offered by the consortium of IIIT-H, JNTUs of Hyderabad, Kakinada
and Anathapuram. Candidates doing this course are equipped with all skills that
are equivalent to the students who have done their M.S in aboard.
MSIT was started 12 years back and those students who
have done their engineering, B.Sc (Mathematics, computers, IT) are eligible to
join this course. The course was first introduced in IIIT-Hyderabad, JNTU
Hyderabad and later on extended to Kakinada and Ananthapur. The institutions
are providing facilities to get bank loans for students coming from cities as
well those coming from the rural background.
Intention of MSIT
Students who have completed their engineering and MCA are
once again joining in special courses to get a job. Some are going abroad for
jobs but only a few are becoming successful. This is because many are lacking
the skills required by the companies and are not having an understanding of
what skills IT companies are expecting from them. In these conditions, MSIT
course is introduced to give proper and full fledged training to the students
so that they can immediately find jobs on completion of their education.

There are so many changes taking place in the education
system. Present generation students can no longer follow the old practices.
They have to sharpen their skills according to the changing trends and
competition for successful career. They should have good presentation skills and
should also have the ability to identify problems and gather required
information to solve the problem on their own. Team spirit is also very much
important along with technical skills. There is a Chinese proverb that “We
forget anything we listen, can remember if we see and can understand if we do
the thing”. So by understanding the problem students can actually improve their
skills in working out to find a solution. Even educationists say that instead
of relying on others for solutions those who use their brains in solving problems
are more successful in their careers.
So this MSIT course is all about improving technical
skills, presentation skills, team work, and positive attitude in students along
with preparing them to work in any conditions.
Bank loans for candidates selected for MSIT
In MSIT there are 40% students from the cities and 60%
students from villages. Consortium helps out students who have joined in this
course to get educational loans from the banks. During the course duration
students are trained according to the standards of the institution and are
assisted in getting 100% placements.
