It was established in the year 1988 and given statutory powers to regulate the capital markets in India. Officer Grade-A: 75 (Gen-39, OBC-19, SC-12, ST-5)
Age Limit: 27 years
Pay Scale: 17100 – 1000 (11) – 28100 – EB – 1000 (4) – 32100 – 1100 (1) - 33200.
Educational Qualifications: Post Graduation in Economics / Commerce / MBA / P.G Diploma in Management / C.A / CFA / CS / ICWA. In addition to any of these qualifications Computer Literacy is required to get a job in SEBI. For more details one can visit www.sebi.gov.in.

Officer posts in SEBI will be filled up through an online test and Interview. The online test is fully objective type and carries out 200 marks.

SEBI invited online applications. Candidates can find this online application link in SEBI website www.sebi.gov.in under “Careers” tab. Job applicants are advised to ensure their eligibility with the requirements of officer jobs in Securities and Exchange Board of India and apply online on or before the closing date 26th August, 2013. Candidates need not send the system generated application form to SEBI Office.
