Indian Navy Permanent Officers June 2015 Course in NAIC and Education Branches

Indian Navy is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the Permanent Officers Course in Naval Armament Inspection Cadre and Education Branches Commencing in June 2015. Indian Air Force is one of the three defence forces in India.  Every year Indian Navy selects candidates for various Short Service Commission and Permanent Service Commission courses it conducts.  After completing these courses they will be appointed as Permanent Service Commissioned or Short Service Commissioned officers according their course.

There are various SSC and PSC courses commence every year in Indian Navy.  Indian Navy offers Pilot / Observer Course, Executive Branch and Technical Branch Courses, Under University Entry Courses, Permanent Commission in Air Traffic Control and Education Branch and SSC in Logistic / Works Cadre Courses and Permanent Officers Course in Naval Armament Inspection Cadre and Education Branches. Indian Navy Permanent Officers Course in NAIC and Education Branches Details 2014
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Grade Pay 5400 and MSP 6000

Naval Armament Inspection Cadre (NAIC)
Age Limit: 19 ½ years to 25 years
Educational Qualifications: Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical or Post graduation in Electronics / Physics.

Education Branch
Age Limit: 21 to 25 years
Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Maths, M.Sc. Chemistry, MCA OR any engineering degree in Mechanical / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Tele Communication / Electrical / Computer Science / Information Technology

Physical Standards: Minimum 157 CMs height

Indian Navy Selection Process
The candidates for Indian Navy courses will be selected through Service Selection Board (SSB) selection tests.  Initially the candidates are shortlisted depending upon their academic performance. The shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interviews for final selection.

The Indian Navy SSB interview consists of 2 stages. Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the second day of arrival at SSB. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).
